IMMERSE is a rain or shine event.

Of course, we hope for more SHINE than RAIN. It looks like rain will be clearing by Saturday’s start time or shortly after. Friday night was amazing. Don’t miss IMMERSE because of any threat of weather.

Here are a few details.

1. Come! Bring an umbrella or a poncho if it looks like rain. We might have some weather delays, but we'll get on with the show after any rain breaks.

2. We’re hoping the weather passes by around 5 on Saturday. So we should be good to go!

3. Although the rain is clearing, the ground is quite saturated. This causes problems with the Archtects of Air installation. As a result, that experience will be unavailable this evening. However, we are extending hours other days this week to accommodate.

Diavolo LA brings passion and excitement to Orlando

Guests will experience the passion and power of Diavolo LA at IMMERSE 2019.

The company combines architecture and acrobatics for a seemingly death-defying performance.

IMMERSE gets guests up close to hundreds of performances and interactive installations from more than 1,000 artists and performers.

It takes place throughout the streets and public spaces of Downtown Orlando, October 18-19.

Diavolo performs both Friday and Saturday night.

Diavolo’s popularity has soared in the last year after they were finalists on America’s Got Talent.

Diavolo will perform on Seneff Plaza in front of the Dr Phillips Center for the performing arts on Friday and Saturday nights, October 18-19.

Multiple ticket options are available for IMMERSE, including a VIP experience that grants guests access to reserved seating areas right in front of the stages.

Also performing at IMMERSE 2019, Blue Man Group. The world-famous trio will headline Saturday night.

And not to be missed are The Worlds of Corkcicle, immersive photo experience. And the Architects of Air. Both of these installations will be open from October 18 through Saturday, October 26. They are accessible with “General Admission PLUS Experiences” ticket or higher.

The Architects of Air create giant inflatable spaces that create awe-inspiring corridors of color, light, and shape.

Creativity From Around the World Inspires Awe in Orlando this October

The UK artist collective, Architects of Air, awakens you to wonder with one of their giant, immersive spaces. It comes to Downtown Orlando beginning October 18.

The “Luminarium” is named “Dodecalis.” Its arrival in Orlando for IMMERSE 2019 is one of the structure’s first appearances in the world.

This giant inflatable structure is made of translucent materials. Light from the outside shines through, creating awe-inspiring corridors of light and color. Don’t worry, it will also be air conditioned.

Architects of Air’s “Dodecalis” and The Worlds of Corkcicle immersive photo experience will both be on Seneff Plaza at Dr. Phillips Center from October 18 through the 26th.

The Worlds of Corkcicle features immersive environments, perfect for photos. The experience debuted in 2018. It returns in 2019 with ALL NEW photo environments… and few of 2018’s most popular.

Both the Architects of Air and The Worlds of Corkcicle are accessible with a “General Admission PLUS Experiences” or higher ticket.

From LA, IMMERSE 2019 also welcomes DIAVOLO. This dance company combines acrobatics and architecture for an unforgettable experience.

Diavolo performs Friday and Saturday, October 18-19.

And global performing artists, Blue Man Group will take the stage on Saturday night!

5 bands join Orlando Phil, FL Symphony Youth Orchestra for epic performance

Friday, October 18, 5 Florida bands join a full orchestra for a must-see performance.

In June, a call went out to bands interested in collaborating to create an unforgettable experience for audiences. More than 60 applied, and 5 were selected : The 502s, chrmng,, NIGHTBREAKERS, Kristopher James, and Whyte Tygers.

“Orchestrate” is a collaboration between Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, Florida Symphony Youth Orchestras, and the Creative City Project. Musicians from FSYO will join players from Orlando Phil to create this symphonic experience.

Orlando Ballet brings their passion to the streets of Orlando

Experience Orlando Ballet as they return to the streets of Downtown Orlando for IMMERSE 2019 this October 18-19.

Last year, the company was one of the highlights of IMMERSE. Artistic Director, Robert Hill, created original work that showcased the dancers’ passion and energy, and the result was stunning.

Orlando Ballet was one of the very first arts organizations to partner with the Creative City Project. In 2012, they did a pop up performance to the song, “Thriller” in Downtown Orlando. A few hundred lunch-goers caught the surprise performance.

Since 2012, Orlando Ballet has continued as an integral part of the annual performing and interactive arts event. This year, they will dance on both Friday and Saturday nights — October 18 and 19. They will share a stage with LA-based, Diavolo, between City Hall and the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.

LA-based, Diavolo, will perform on the same stage as Orlando Ballet, adjacent to City Hall.

Once again, the ballet will be performing original work at IMMERSE 2019. Soon after, Orlando Ballet will open their season. “Vampire’s Ball” opens the weekend of Halloween.

Architects of Air bring giant immersive inflatable to IMMERSE 2019

The Architects of Air is a group of artists from the UK that make truly immersive experiences.

Since 1992 more than 3 million visitors in over 40 countries across 5 continents have been welcomed into Architects of Air’s monumental luminaria. And now,

they bring one of their structures to Orlando for IMMERSE 2019.

The structures are made from translucent materials, so the sun shines in to create wondrous corridors of color and light.

Then, the structures open up to expansive spaces featuring interesting geometric designs.

Each luminarium features an original, ambient soundtrack. It brings a relaxing calm as visitors explore the spaces.

Immersive Photo Experience, The Worlds of Corkcicle, Is Back

Thousands of guests took and shared tens of thousands of photos from The Worlds of Corkcicle in 2018 in Orlando, FL.

The Worlds of Corkcicle is back at IMMERSE 2019 in Downtown Orlando with all new immersive photo environments!

“These 3D, immersive worlds integrate light, built sets, projection, and effects. It all adds up to an unforgettable experience — perfect for photos with friends!” says Cole NeSmith, Executive Director of the Creative City Project.

The second version of The Worlds of Corkcicle will appear at IMMERSE 2019 in Downtown Orlando. More than a dozen all new environments will be built inside 8 shipping containers. The containers are modified to open from the side, and the photo experiences will be inside the containers.

The Worlds of Corkcicle will open during IMMERSE 2019 on October 18 and 19. The installation will re-open daily until Saturday, October 26.

Last year, we built this giant ball pit. In 2019, the ball pit will return as part of The Worlds of Corkcicle. The container will open from the side, revealing thousands of balls and giving you a great opportunity to snap a pic!

You all took and shared tens of thousands of amazing photos last year. In 2019, you’ll find ALL NEW immersive photo environments to explore and capture!

The Architects of Air Comes To IMMERSE

This team of artist hails from the UK. They’ll be bringing one of their giant, inflatable structures to IMMERSE 2019. These “Luminaria” are made of translucent materials. The sun shines through to create magical corridors of color and light. You MUST experience this!!

More Interactive Installations Than Ever!

In addition to hundreds of performances, IMMERSE activates the streets and public spaces of Downtown Orlando with tons of interactive installations. This year, all new installations will come to life. For example, how about a maze full of shadow puppets, actors, lights, sound, and effects? It’s not a haunted house… but a journey through a magical world of creativity.

Here are two of our most popular interactive installations. “Dear Citizen O” invited people to write letters to each other through this pop up post office. Flora was an interactive experience that encouraged guests to consider the most meaningful moments of their lives. By the end of IMMERSE, this alleyway was filling with thousands of live flowers.

Below, Orlando Health invites you to use your body to digitally paint on the walls of this giant, 60’x25’ inflatable cube.

OUC Lights Return Bigger and Better!

Last year, you loved taking photos among the OUC Lights. This year, the experience will be bigger and better. Look for these lights to pop up in Orlando beginning mid-September. Then, they all come together in Downtown Orlando on October 18-19 for IMMERSE 2019!
