IMMERSE, presented by the Creative City Project, will awaken you to a new life of deep inspiration. As you walk the streets of the city, you'll encounter unexpected creative experiences that remind you that more is possible.

Frequently asked questions :

When is IMMERSE 2021?
5 - 11 PM on Friday and Saturday, October 15-16. New this year, COLOR DAY is Sunday, October 17 and by ticket only (three timeslots to choose from).

Do I need to reserve a ticket?
Yes! There are several options to choose from. We recommend at least picking up the GENERAL ADMISSION + JOYBOX Ticket. This will give you access to all the performances and “JOYBOX,” an immersive art experience perfect for exploring and taking photos! Tickets available beginning June 2021.

Where is it?
The event takes place on Orange Ave south of Washington to Anderson St (Dr. Philips Center)
Also on Pine St and Church St. east and west of Orange.
We also utilize Chase Plaza (where the movie theater is) and the Lawn at Bank of America (formerly SunTrust building)

Who is performing and at what time?
Over 100 participating organizations are bringing hundreds of experiences. Get all the details and plan your trip using the Creative City Project IMMERSE app once it becomes available.

Should I come both nights?
YES! There are hundreds of performances and installations each night of the event. Some repeat. Some vary. But there’s way more to experience than one night can hold! So join us on both Friday and Saturday! HOWEVER, Sunday is for COLOR DAY ticket holders only.

If I'm driving, where do I park?
If you're not familiar with Downtown Orlando, we know that it can be difficult to know where to park. But Downtown Orlando has TONS of parking that will cost you around $10. You can find the garages here. The closest garages to IMMERSE are

  • the Library Garage on Central

  • the 55W garage on Pine St.

  • the garage at Orlando City Hall

  • the garage at Rosalind and Jackson

Parking on the north side of the event can be helpful too. You’ll walk a little bit, but you'll encounter less traffic. Those garages are

  • the City Commons Garage on Boone Ave

  • the Jefferson St Garage on Jefferson.

If I'm taking a car service, where should it drop me off?
Have them drop you off a few blocks from the intersection of Orange Ave and Pine St, Orange Ave and Church St, or Orange Ave and Jackson.

Is all the programming suitable for kids?
Almost all of the programming at IMMERSE is appropriate for young audiences. After 9 PM – the last two hours of the event – some programming may tend toward PG-13. But we do see families staying with us until the event ends at 11 PM, and there will be programming your entire family will love.

Is it safe?
Yes! All those who live in and visit Orlando can discover Downtown Orlando with safety and ease all night long.

  • We employ officers from the Orlando Police Department to be present throughout the event.

  • The streets are closed to keep pedestrians safe from traffic throughout the entire footprint of the event.

  • Volunteers are present throughout downtown to help you find your way.

  • There's plenty of room for strollers and for families to walk safely together.

Is there food?
Yes... you can get food from a vendor or try one of the restaurants in Downtown Orlando. There are some quick options under $10 and some fancier options as well throughout the event space.

Are there bathrooms?
Port-o-lets are provided throughout the event's footprint.
